Carey is my beautiful boy, who’s had one of the toughest starts to his life. He was 9 months old when he was diagnosed with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukaemia in December 2021. 

Since then he has spent long periods of his life in hospital undergoing numerous medical treatments and on his 1st birthday he received his bone marrow transplant, donated by his big sister Aubrey. Both my children are warriors 

Less than 3% of all funding for research into cancer goes into research of childhood cancer. 

4 treatments have been developed for children in the last 40 years compared to hundreds of adult treatments.

I am playing in the Yellowave volleython to raise moneys for Carey’s Friends which is raising money for research into this rare cancer JMML.
