Story

Thankyou for looking at our fundraising page in memory of our beautiful and very missed Narelle Portia Jones. For people viewing this page Narelle was born 10.5.2018 and went home to become a angel on 11.7.2018, although she wasnt here on earth long, she made a huge impact on a lot of people and her journey was supported greatly by Claire House.

Everyone who knows Claire house will know it is a children’s hospice that helps look after poorly children. It gives them and their families a lot of wonderful memories, but they helped us in a way we had never thought about before. They helped us to make memories but they also helped us to get Narelle home so she could pass away surrounded by those who love her so deeply. Narelle was the first baby to ever be taken home from Arrowe Park hospital to withdraw care and this was down to the staff at Claire House and their support. They gave us a lot of support as a family and are always at the end of the phone. They arranged on our behalf, along side our vicar, to baptise Narelle. They also helped with funeral plans and provided family and group counselling, where we met other families in the same situation. Claire House also arranged sibling days where Sienna can do activities with other children who have also sadly lost siblings. They also provided a cold cot so Narelle could be at home after she passed away right up until her funeral. Without this support from Claire House none of this would of been possible and Claire house rely on the support of donations to make all of this possible. We feel we should return the love by helping fundraise for them so they can continue their amazing work.

So as a team, that includes: Lorin (her mummy), Sienna (sister) Clare & Zoe (aunties), Esmae and Ava (cousins)
We are becoming unicorns to make some memories for Narelle and are taking part in the 2019 splash dash to raise money to support this very special charity. Every bit of support is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance from Narelles memory unicorns xx
