The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Our  amazing Super Swimmers Academy Advanced squad are 11 youngsters on the autistic spectrum, and they are swimming the distance of the English Channel in just 12 swimming sessions to help keep their new club stay 'afloat'!

The two teams – Orcas and Stingrays, will combine their lengths to complete this awesome 22 mile (1,416 lengths) Channel Relay Challenge.

We need funds to help pay for the exclusive hire of the swimming centre every fortnight and paying two dedicated swimming instructors.

Did you know that drowning is among the leading causes of death of individuals with autism? Reports show that children with ASC are 160 times more likely to die from drowning than the general population of children.

Swimming ability for kids with autism is an imperative survival skill.
