1) COVID-19 Food & Essentials Pack @£50 each
The COVID-19 pandemic has killed more than 24,000 people since it was first reported in China in November 2019.
With lockdown enforcement causing difficulties for needy people to access food and essentials, Team KORT is on the front line to provide these packs to needy people in the Mirpur Division of Azad Kashmir (Mirpur, Kotli, Bhimber and Dadhyal).
Each pack will contain baby food and baby essentials, medicines and essential food items
Zakat, Sadaqah and Lillah accepted for this appeal.
If you are donating for this appeal, please include CVS and the type of donation i.e. Zakat/Sadaqah etc in the comments box so we can allocate the funds accordingly.
2) Donate any amount towards the sustainability of the orphan children at KORT
A cause close to my heart, you donations will support the physical, mental and emotional development of the orphan children at KORT. Sadaqah, Zakat & Lillah accepted for this appeal.
If you are donating for this appeal, please include KORT and the type of donation i.e. Zakat/Sadaqah etc in the comments box so we can allocate the funds accordingly.
In addition to this, i am encouraging everyone to donate your Fitrana to KORT @£5 per head before the 15th of Ramadhan. This is to ensure that we can distribute the Fitrana amongst the poor and needy people so that they can prepare and celebrate Eid with their families just like the rest of us. Every Muslim is obliged, if they have the means to do so, to pay the Fitrana in Ramadhan. Adults should pay for themselves as well as children or others in their care unable to make the payment themselves. Fitrana is a way to give thanks to God for having enabled us the strength to observe the obligatory fasts and a way to cleanse ourselves of any shortcomings or misconduct during the month of Ramadan. Please put Fitrana in comments box if you donate Fitrana.
Finally, anyone who is unable to fast during Ramadhan due to health & medical reasons and is unable to make up the fasts after Ramadhan, Fidya must be paid at £5 per missed fast which you could also donate to KORT who will disburse the donations accordingly.
