Being diagnosed with a terminal illness can turn your world upside down. We're here to help people make the most of the time they have left, and provide expert care so that they can die with dignity. Your donation today will help us to be here for people in East London when they need us.

Story

Naseem was a remarkable woman. You will all know her from different areas of her life - whether it was local community work in the East End, the Indian dance world, black power in Notting Hill back in the 1960s or Zen Buddhism. Her 1976 report The Arts Britain Ignores set the foundation for a new narrative around Britishness and cultural identity. Mum meant many things to many many people around the world.

We are raising money for the wonderful St Joseph's Hospice on Mare Street in Hackney which gave her such peace and care in her final days.

Funeral Tuesday 20th June, 11am St Marylebone Crematorium, Finchley.

Memorial Celebration, Sunday 22nd October on Arnold Circus, Hackney.
