Story

Hi!

My name is Naser. I am a PhD student at the University of Birmingham. At the start of 2013, my supervisor, Dr Waldemar Bujalski, lost his battle with cancer. I have decided to raise money in his memory and the memory of those who have also been a cancer victim.

I recently, stumbled across the Ultra White Collar Boxing event devised to train men and women, with little or no boxing experience, in the sport to take part in a charity event. At the event, I will be fighting three 2 minute rounds on June 13th 2015 at the famous Edgbaston Cricket Ground. The event is black tie with judges, a referee and doctor on hand. To give you an idea, here's the UWCB event that took place last September 2014:

This is the first time I have raised money for a charity and also the first time I've stepped in the ring in such a capacity. Anyone who knows me, knows I train hard, however, I am not training to beat my opponent, I am training to beat cancer. We have all been there, 1 in 3 people are diagnosed with this vicious disease and I want to help change these odds, but I can't do it alone. I need your help, so please dig deep, give as much as you can so that we can kick cancer's behind! It's all for a good cause.
