Story

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu.

Ramadan Kareem. I pray Allah accepts our fasts, worship and charity this month inshallah.

I am raising money as a means of Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous form of charity) on behalf of my late parents Abdul and Razia.

Ramadan is special time for me and my family. My parents MADE Ramadan for us. Everything about this blessed time reminds me of them and how I embody my love for Allah because of the beautiful examples that they set for me. For my parents, their life was about giving and honouring others as much as they could. They taught me that giving charity was a way of thanking Allah for what we have, and that we must give with an open heart, for our wealth is from Allah, and we should spend in the way of Allah to purify our Rizq. He is after all, Ar-razzaq.

This is the second Ramadan without either of them and although I love this month, and I am grateful Allah has enabled me to bear the blessings of it, not a second passes that I do not miss their presence. I pray that I am able to continue their legacy in all that they taught me to be. I pray that I am righteous and able to continue their legacy. I pray this sadaqah jariyah we have collectively raised adds to their list of good deeds, and that Allah allows them to be with the ones that are beloved to Him because of it. May this sadaqah benefit our aakhirah too.

Please donate as little or as much as possible and share this page. May your donations be accepted and may our efforts in worship during this wonderful month be met by the goodness and joy that it brings. May our souls be nourished in patience and faith and may we be held closer to the mercy and compassion of our Lord. May Allah have mercy on my late parents. Ameen ya rabb.

Wa alaykum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu.
