I have been practising since October 2022. I started slowly, as I have never run a half marathon before. I used to run 5k or 10k runs a long time ago, but this will be a great challenge and a test of my physical capacity. I am excited, motivated and looking forward to the run. Please support my cause. Let me tell you a little bit about the charity and the cause I am running for:

Ivory Coast is a fast developing economy in West Africa, but provision of healthcare in the provinces is sparse and even in the capital Abidjan, there is insufficient quality or clinical capacity and services are priced out of reach for much of the population. There is a need for greater access to good quality healthcare provisions for more sections of the community. The hospital will gradually offer a range of services in a phased manner, but early priorities include: Maternity Orthopaedics Paediatric services Diagnostics Surgical theatre Pharmacy Laboratory tests Ultrasound Digestive endoscopy ECGs. Ophthalmology. Please support this appeal to bring this hospital to reality and help us save lives!
