Our story,

Salaam, it's Nasria & Sofia. We're friends from Arabic class and we wanted to raise money for a worthwhile cause during this beautiful month of Ramadan 2022.

We've known about the work of the charity Nour for a number of years and we think that the services it provides are very important and urgent- we think you'll agree.

Please help us to raise funds to provide survivors of domestic abuse with these things they urgently need:

-legal advice

-training & more.

What Nour does:

Our primary objective is to support and advocate for adult survivors of abuse and to deliver a holistic programme of initiatives to help alleviate issues such as physical and mental health, loneliness and deprivation, financial and strategic assistance.

We specialise in the provision of a free counseling service (24 sessions) for survivors of abuse; this is trauma-informed therapy by professional therapists who are culturally aware and can provide a faith-sensitive service.

We deliver support services through advice and guidance, a free legal advice service, workshops, training, and other initiatives that contribute to wellbeing and healing.

The services have been set up to provide a culturally aware and faith-sensitive service.With your kind donations, we will continue to provide one-to-one professional counseling and all the wrap-around support services for survivors of domestic abuse.
