Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Edinburgh Marathon in memory of my much-missed nan, Betty, and aiming to raise as much money as possible for the staff at Velindre Cancer Centre who looked after her so well when she needed it. It's such a worthy charity, providing specialist cancer services to over 1.5 million people in South East Wales and beyond.

As most of you know - because you have had to put up with my moaning - I hate running. This is a huge challenge for me and after a 20 mile training run yesterday, I am under no illusions about how hard it will be. After much sweat - and a growing amount of tears the closer it gets - I am slowly getting there. But to give myself an extra bit of motivation I decided to make my efforts worthwhile and run in aid of all those lovely people who helped my nan.

So please dig deep and give what you can,

Thank you!
