Huxleys 1000 steps - for Steps Worldwide · 30 May 2020
Any one who knows Huxley Rebel Gallop, know he was born with Bilateral Talipes. People describe this as Club Foot and throw it to one side, as they don't really understand how much these children go through.
Plaster casts on both legs from 4 weeks old, operations at 6-9 months and this is all ongoing. As they get bigger the ponseti method is applied and it is great but it doesn't come without discomfort and sleepless nights for us Mums, Dad's, and also our children.
As you child grows, managing to get shoes to fit properly is a task in itself and its just nice to think, if help is needed, there's a charity to help. As a parent, ou can feel helpless.
So on Saturday, Huxley is going to walk 1000 steps to raise money for Steps.
