Hi all,

I am running the Bupa Great Manchester Run on May 18th for Cancer Research. I am running in memory of my wonderful grandparents Ron and Sylvia Peak who sadly passed away last year from cancer.

Last year, I ran the 10k in memory of my grandmother Sylvia, who had died in January of a brain tumour, sadly the day after the run my Grandad, Ron, died. I promised myself I would do the 10k the following year in honour of him and raise some more money for Cancer Research.

So here I am again, asking for money, in the midst of training. Training began slowly this year due to a knee injury, but it seems to be better now so I'm building up the miles and cutting down the time. Not long to go now.
