10 years ago my mum was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, our world fell apart and changed forever.  Thanks to the research from charities such as Cure Leukaemia, she was signed up to a clinical trial for her treatment and is now in remission.

We never thought she'd be so strong, so brave and so utterly amazing!  The odds were against her, it was a horrendous battle, nobody knows what she went through and she continues to fight each and every day.

We are so proud of her... of how she's fought, smiled, battled, smiled, suffered, smiled and how she continues to smile every single day.  She is my inspiration and I love her so much.

By taking part in the Aztec Escape OCR at Cliff Lakes on Saturday 18th May, I hope to raise vital funds for Cure Leukaemia, to give them the opportunity to cure blood cancers faster!
