My Sister's Place Women's Center is a comprehensive resource center for women and children experiencing homelessness in Baltimore City. The talented and dedicated staff work to address immediate and essential needs, build trust and relationships with clients, and empower women to achieve their personal and professional goals. In the ongoing reality of a global pandemic, services have continued with daily to-go meal distribution, access to showers and laundry services, and ongoing case management.

I first learned of their work in 2002 when a small group of us were asked to do a fundraiser for the program.  That was the beginning of our annual Bingo event that was a favorite of My Sister's Place supporters until this year, when the pandemic forced us to cancel it for now.  As our world faces unprecedented challenges, My Sister's Place continues to be a bastion of hope and support for the women we serve.
