Story
I lost my brother-in-law and Mother-in-law to sudden adult death syndrome from an undiagnosed electrical fault in their hearts, the first sign of anything being wrong was a fatal cardiac arrest in both of them.
Since losing my mother-in-law in 2017, my husband has been diagnosed as having a serious electrical fault with his heart and had an ICD (implantable cardiac defibrillator) fitted to help keep him alive. Both my husband and my daughter continue to undergo tests and be monitored. They still don't fully understand what Simon has, Brugada and ARVC are in the mix but only time and further tests will tell.
If you have received a free photo shoot from me and want to donate the smallest amount will make a HUGE difference, if a family member has had a session and you want to donate something back because you know how much it meant to them please feel free to throw some pennies in too :)
DONATING IS OPTIONAL AND NOT A CONDITION OF THE FREE PHOTO-SHOOT
Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions. See how your support can help by visiting www.c-r-y.org.uk
