I read a Guardian article about 700,000 children taking on caring responsibilities in the UK, largely due to reduced social care funding. Children are quietly doing the equivalent of £12,000 of social care work, unpaid, each year.

I believe every child should have a safe and happy childhood but in the UK today, vulnerable children are left without support. Many face abuse and neglect, poverty and poor mental health.

That's why I'm taking part in You Dare to fundraise for Action for Children, to improve their lives in small but meaningful ways. Last year, 387,000 children were reached. Thanks for helping us reach even more!
