Story
My father Ernest was a wonderful person and a clever production engineer who worked on the Concorde engine after attending night school to hone his skill. Like so many, for him Alzheimer's was a tragic illness and he died two years after diagnosis although with professional support and that of family and friends he spent much of this time living in his own home.
In his memory, I am fundraising for The Alzheimer's Society who do such incredible work to support those living with dementia and those who care for them.
I want to raise as much as possible between now and 31 July 2019 and will be using a small number of social events to achieve this and maybe some other ideas that I have in my mind.....
