Story

Cancer can affect any of us - directly or indirectly. The work that Rosemere Cancer Foundation does, especially at RPH is fantastic. In support of this, we have joined forces and all signed up to do the Walk in the Dark 2018. We have made a combined justgiving page to make it easier for everyone to donate. So if you would like to sponsor Mel Cooper, Natalie Suffield, Nicky Henderson, Jen Topley or Jane Blair please donate on this page. Thank you!!!

Tilly & Mel: In March last year, our Uncle Stephen was referred as a 2 week rule suspected cancer patient. He attended chemo at Rosemere at RPH and was well cared for. The treatment was helping to control his cancer however just before Christmas, due to infections he was admitted to the Ribblesdale ward. Although it was his wish to go to St Catherine's, he was too poorly to move and the staff at RPH were fantastic and really looked after him and also us as a family. In memory of our uncle and also to give something back to those who looked after him in his last days, me & my sister are taking part in the walk in the dark from CDH to RPH . Hopefully we will be able to fund raise for the wonderful staff and centre that looked after my uncle so any donation big or small will be very much appreciated.
