I have signed up for the Manchester Marathon in April 2025 in memory of my Dad who sadly passed away following heart surgery in October 2021.

I was originally signed up for April 2024 and this was set to be my first road marathon. I have since completed a road marathon but this one will be the big one as it’s the one I had originally planned to run and means everything as I’ll be running in memory of my dad so I’d like to smash my current 3:31 PB and do him proud.

Winter training is tough and I feel like I’ve been training 24/7 365 with all the events I’ve had this year but I’m determined to continue grafting for this one.

My dad always said I was one determined little madam so hoping I can prove him right and do him proud.
