Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in memory of my amazing mum

 

Most of you know my story as I have raised money for the British Heart Foundation in the past in memory of my mum Annette.

I have made a new year’s resolution (with it also being my ‘special’ birthday this year…..oh dear………..30) to do more to help others and charities.

 

Last year you helped me raise an amazing £500 PLUS for the British heart foundation with the charity raffle I ran. I started off 2013 on New Year’s Eve taking homemade packed lunches to Nottingham and Lincoln and feeding the homeless people that I could find. By the way, Kerry, Emma and Drew…..I appreciate the miles you walked with me in the rain doing this! Not exactly a drunken NYE but it’s been my best one EVER thank you guys!

 

I am now taking it one MASSIVE step further………….I am terrified of flying……………so what a better way to start the year by jumping out of a plane!

 

Oh god……I’m shuddering already!

 

If I just do this for no reason I won’t jump! However if I have all of you behind me and know my mum is watching me raise money for a charity that does wonders for the disease she lost her life to, then I KNOW I can do it!

So here I am again peeps! Yet again asking for anything to help me hit my target of £1000!

 

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, the money is sent directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aidis reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

 

There is also the JUST TEXT GIVING option which means no money going out your bank etc.! All you need to do is text the word NATZ83 followed by either 1,2,3,5 or 10 to 70070! E.g. If you wanted to donate £1 you would text NATZ83 1 and then send that message to 70070. Thank you everyone! As soon as I have a date set for the jump I will update the page and the event will be photographed and possibly filmed for proof! However I am looking at summer as I need to save the pennies up to pay for the jump :)

 

In a nut shell…………….this is NOT my idea of fun! Nor a personal experience…………….I am doing this as I am genuinely terrified……………..but not as terrified as I would be thinking of other people out there who are going through what I went through losing the most precious person in my life.
