HHA has been working in the developing world since 2006. Originally in Haiti alone but now in East Africa, Hope Health Action focuses its work on the most vulnerable groups in society to tackle poverty by reducing maternal and infant mortality and improving disability care and rehabilitation.

Story

The other night whilst watching the news it struck me that I had just had a shower, eaten dinner, and was about to get into a warm, comfy bed yet all these people on the tv had lost EVERYTHING. I decided that as a self-confessed talkaholic i would attempt to raise as much money as I could and do a 24 hours sponsored silence to raise money for those suffering as a result of the earthquake in Haiti.

We all know i'm going to seriously struggle to be quiet for 24 hours but that is nothing in comparison to what the people in Haiti are going through.

Imagine what we could do if every person in the UK donated £1...!

I am asking you to sponsor me and take just one minute to think about how lucky we all really are and whether or not you could go without the 1,2,3,5,10 pounds you donate today.

A lot of people end up thinking that the money they donate won't get to those who need it, this is where JustGiving is different...

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now,

lots of love
