At 23 years old Troy Greenfield lost his long fight against CF, growing up all he wanted was to be like all his mates he kept his illness secret to most people because he just wanted to be normal. Three years ago he started to become ill up till then he held down a part time job and played in a football team and learnt to drive. Troy was always well liked because of his sense of humour  he was a bit of a joker with all his mates. His illness never stopped him he tried to pack in as much as he could but finally he became so unwell he had to have a lung transplant all was going well until the germ he carried from his old lungs started to attack his new ones and then he was told that he was going to die, Troy being Troy was so brave and with great strength planed his own funeral and said his goodbyes to friends and family.
On the second of March 2014 he lost the fight, he was my best friend and confidant and I miss him so much.
We must now try and help find a cure for all those who have CF so please sponsor as much as you can in Troys memory so others can live a normal life.
