London Landmarks Half Marathon in Memory of Matthew Wotton

Natasha Rossek is raising money for The Compassionate Friends

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 · 12 April 2026 ·

Team TCF run London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026. The Compassionate Friends offer peer support to parents, siblings and grandparents bereaved of a child from any cause and of any age (1 month into adulthood).

Story

This April, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon with The Compassionate Friends, a charity that supports families after the unimaginable loss of a child.

I am running in memory of Matthew Wotton, a family friend who passed away last April at just 27 years old.

I will be running alongside Matthew’s dad, Colin Wotton. Every mile we run is for Matthew and his family and friends; for the love that remains and the strength they show every day in carrying him with them.

The Compassionate Friends exists for those moments when the world feels unbearably quiet after loss. Donations help ensure that those who wake up each day carrying a grief no one should have to carry alone receive understanding, compassion, and support when they need it most.

A year on, the loss still feels heavy and TCF’s community of 250 volunteers, themselves bereaved parents, continue to walk with Matthew’s parents everyday.

Thank you for taking the time to read and donate if you can.
