Hi,

For those of you that know me, know i'm not really the "running type" so it comes as much a shock to me, as i'm sure it does you, that i'm even doing this race. Anyway to ensure something good came out of my puffing, panting, and likely cardiac arrest I decided to at least raise some money for charity.

The charity i've chosen is sort of run by my lovely friend Corinne who does all kinds of youth work I'm not really sure of the ins and outs of it all but suffice to say she and the other people she works with do a grand job. This summer she wants to take a bunch of the kids she works with to Africa, to take part in a volunteering project out there. All the money i raise will go directly toward this... so a good cause I think you'd agree!
