We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

A group of us are taking part in this years Wigan 10K to raise Money towards the charity CALM

CALM is a charity which focuses on preventing suicide in young men and offers support by encouraging them to speak up and talk about their problems.

Suicide is the biggest cause of death in men under 45 in the UK.

We are supporting CALM in memory of Nathan Christy, our brother, cousin, friend who we all loved dearly.

Although on the outside, Nathan appeared to be very happy with his 'Keep smiling' motto and pearly white smile, he suffered greatly on the inside and we sadly lost him on 24th July 2016
