I will be joining former England Rugby Captain Lewis Moody MBE on his next epic challenge crossing Costa Rica from the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. Covering 300km over 8 days, this unique, multi-discipline coast to coast expedition will be a true challenge for all abilities. Taking on trekking, kayaking, mountain biking, and rafting across this stunning but demanding terrain, i will be pushed to my physical and mental limits.Journeying from the east to the west coast of Costa Rica I will be battling, jungle and river, volcano and white water on this ambitious journey. Camping overnight in remote locations, crossing altitudes of over 2,300ms and enduring a vast range of weather conditions from extreme heat and humidity to cold fog and sudden downpours, this is a true expedition through the wilderness of Costa Rica 

I will be doing this in aid of the Lewis Moody foundation which supports adults and children with brain tumours as brain Tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children with one child dying every three days. 

This must change. Every penny raised through sponsorship of the headwest challenge can support the crucial distribution of HeadSmart symptoms cards giving parents, GP’s and health professionals vital information about the signs and symptoms of brain tumours in children to ensure brain tumours are no longer missed. Early diagnosis saves lives and prevents long term disabilities
