On 7th August 2021, I am hoping to trek 26 miles around the Ullswater lake in the Lake District. I have roped in three friends to carry out this walk with me (all of whom found my suggestion hilarious - until they realised that I was being serious).  On March 26th 2017, Roberta McQuaide, my granny, passed away from dementia. I wanted to do something worthwhile in memory of her and decided that, after the year we've had of lockdown, I would challenge myself by taking part in this trek to raise money for Alzheimer's Society.
