HHA has been working in the developing world since 2006. Originally in Haiti alone but now in East Africa, Hope Health Action focuses its work on the most vulnerable groups in society to tackle poverty by reducing maternal and infant mortality and improving disability care and rehabilitation.

Story

THE RUMOURS ARE TRUE

Nathan IS indeed running a marathon (and a bit) in an effort to raise money for the haitan hospital appeal. As many of you know i'm not the best of endurance atheletes and many people have already asked me/made a point of saying "isn't that more sams sort of thing?"

And too those people i say NAY! a marathon is merely a long car journey without a car. It is essentially the same as walking home after a long day at work or maybe a slightly heavy night at the pub. And to date i have done both of those things and done them well! so as for the marathon ... bring it on!

All i ask is that you all take the time to check out the charity I am supporting, a charity that I have followed for several years now, and is in part responsible for my choice to go into medicine.

Every donation wont just be helping them, it will also be the sole thing that keeps me going once I reach that 10 mile mark and think....

... these things really are best left to sam :S
