On June 4th 2022 I will be climbing Roseberry Topping 29x which is the equivalent to Mt Everest with a target time frame of 20 hours between the hours of 19:00-15:00 in order to raise money for Children North East who provide a fantastic service helping young people in schools suffering with their mental health. 

About me: I am a proud Dad of 3 amazing children and I am currently working in a secondary school as a Learning Support Assistant where I see the challenges young people face on a daily basis battling the early signs of mental illness. I myself have battled with depression which led to me requiring professional help  in 2017 and thanks to the support of the people around me I have been able to manage the barriers I also faced through resilience, goal setting and taking control of my own situation. 

My goal is to not only raise money for a brilliant local charity but to also motivate and inspire the children I work with and many others and show them that by avoiding the path of least resistance and challenging yourself it is possible to overcome these hurdles no matter who you are or what life throws at you. 

ALL donations will go directly to the Children North East charity and any contribution no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference!
