We care for unwanted cats and rabbits to help them find their forever homes.

Story

In the last few months the number of stray and abandoned animals has dramatically increased, to the point that rescue have hit maximum limits and are now flooding into veterinary practices.

The Society for abandoned animals is a small charity based in Manchester. Who have gone above and beyond their limits by helping out the local community, taking in stray and abandoned animals needing forever homes-even though they are at maximum capacity.

The money that will be raised for the charity will help in their rehoming process making sure every animal is healthly. Proving them with vaccination, microchipped and up to date with preventatives.

This year, myself and the team at Manchester Vets Now are going to take part in the total warrior in Leeds. The event will take place in July where we have to have to over come 25 obstacles over 12km to raise the money for society for abandoned animals. Alongside this myself and Jo Ackers will be taking part in the Manchester half marathon in October.

Every donation will go along way for this charity. So please donate.

Established in the 1960s, the SAA takes in unwanted and abandoned cats and rabbits. All the animals are micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated, and the SAA never puts a healthy animal down. The animals are given food, shelter and veterinary care, until loving new homes are found.
