My football mad nephew Elliot, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia  at just seven years old. He battled for two years before sadly passing away in 2011. So it is with a heavy heart that I have chosen to run the 2019 London marathon in Elliot's memory and for all the children in the UK who are currently fighting this cruel disease. Elliot spent his final hours at Claire House children's hospice. The support that staff provided before and after he passed away was incredible. Claire House is truly an amazing charity.
