Longest Day 300k UltraMan · 24 June 2017

We support people in Norfolk that have experienced sexual abuse and violence to heal, rebuild and move forward in their lives. We provide free therapeutic services including counselling, workshops, and group sessions; as well as practical support with everyday matters such as housing and benefits.

Story

I think by now most of my friends know that I have suffered with mental illness for most of my life.

Many of you have helped me through the hard times but the struggle to get consistent and caring, professional help had been torrid.

After many years I've finally found a group of people that care and want to help and that's a rare thing in my experience.

To say thank you and to help ensure their services are available to others in need I've created my own UltraMan event consisting of a 5km swim, a 245km ride and finishing up with a 50k run which I'll be doing unsupported, on the weekend after the longest day.

Please please find a couple of pennies to donate to help this fantastic charity.

See below for more info on The Sue Lambert Trust.

The Sue Lambert Trust is a Norfolk based charity which provides support for survivors of sexual abuse.

They offer a range of services including one to one counselling, practical support, group work and a telephone helpline.

They are a charity, their professional counsellors are all volunteers, and they do not charge for our services however we ask clients to please pay what they can towards the cost of their counselling sessions.
