The Event

Nexus RAG week 2011 is a big one. We've got 5 huge events, and we're doing some crazy stuff. But it's all about my event this year.

A genuine Guiness World Record Attempt. It'll go in the book and everything, right next to the guy with the biggest earlobes.

We're going to break the record for the World's Longest EVER football match. The current record is held by Sports students at Loughborough University- the y played for 60 hours, non stop. So we have to break that. We're going to go for 72 hours.

72 hours of football. Saturday Morning until Tuesday Morning. I'm slightly scared i might die...

So, i feel like this is pretty deserving of some sponsorship. There are a few different ways you can do it:

A one off lump sum, however much you feel you can give.

To make it a bit more interesting, you can pay per hour. So will we make 72, will we do more? You never know... Maybe you could give 50p, or 30p an hour...

And to make it really interesting, you could sponsor me per goal I score... I have no idea how many this might be- the score in the last game was 742-732, so i'm gonna hope to score about 30 goals...
