Child Bereavement UK help children and young people (up to age 25), parents, and families, to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. Child Bereavement UK also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

Story

For the month of March, the National Youth Assembly (NYA) delegates aim to encourage Church of Scotland congregations to each raise £25, to acknowledge and further support the work of Child Bereavement UK in their 25th anniversary year (2019).

One of the main discussion topics at the National Youth Assembly, in August 2018, was End of Life Issues. As part of these discussions a representative from Child Bereavement UK came to speak to the youth delegates about the work of the charity. The NYA youth reps have also worked on another project this year, which has involved input from a Child Bereavement UK representative.

The charity supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement.

Thank you in advance for any support you are able to give to this cause.
