Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

A  group of 8 lads from Retford are attempting to walk the National Three Peaks within 24 hours.

The money raised for this challenge will be donated to Parkinson's UK, which is a charity close to us after my Grandad, who was a keen and inspirational hill walker, passed away in December after suffering from the condition for many years.

The 8 walkers who will be completing the challenge are:

Ben Walker, Henry Judge, Sam Judge, Tom Fenwick, Jordan Tennant, Will Smith, Stacey Roberts and Jacob Brammer.

For those who have not heard of the National Three Peaks challenge it is a long distance, endurance walk where we will attempt to climb the highest mountains of England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowdon) within 24 hours. We will climb each peak in turn, and are driven from the foot of one mountain to the next (By Tom's Dad Steve).
