Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
This year, our team in branch at Nationwide Banbury have decided to support a charity that we feel is very close tour hearts, not only as a branch, but as a society.
The BYHP (Banbury Young Homelessness Project) are a brilliant charity who have been working with some of the most vulnerable in Banbury and North Oxfordshire, many of whom are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or inadequately housed. The BYHP work to empower young people aged from 16-25 to not only improve their futures but break that cycle of disadvantaged and chaotic lives.
As a branch we will be cycling the distance of Banbury to Amsterdam, on a stationary bike in 5 days, starting on the 22nd July, and finishing on the 29th July. This will be a challenge but we are raring to go!
B.M.A.C - Banbury Martial Arts Centre, have very kindly donated a brand-new stationary bike for us to use.
We would massively appreciate your support in raising awareness for this fantastic charity, and any amount you could afford to donate would really help to support the charity continuing to do the brilliant work it does for young people.
We are sure you all agree that this is a cause worth supporting, especially now more than ever; during a pandemic, we should be supporting those who are the most vulnerable.
The participants will be Josh Spering, Ava Rawbone, Josie O'Carroll, Kim Watson, Hadeel Kashou, Lee Cloono, James Gregory and Daisy Byrne.
