Campaign by Love Musgrove (RCN 1059922)
We're raising £100,000 to create a three bed recovery bay, a revitalised reception space, an upgrade to the Antenatal Clinic and brand new equipment for Musgrove Park Hospital's Maternity Unit!

Story

As many of you know, we have been training very hard to take part in the Bath Half Marathon this Sunday (15th March). We have been out in all weathers, including horizontal rain, hail and strong winds. We have pushed ourselves to the limits over the last three months to get ourselves ready.

Unfortunately the Coronavirus has become a major concern to both of us and so we have decided to pull out of the Bath Half Marathon but instead we will be doing a Somerset Levels Half Marathon this Sunday. We have decided to pull out of the Bath Half Marathon for various reasons. Firstly we do not want to put any extra strain on the NHS or the medical staff having to attend this event, we also feel it would be selfish on our parts if we attended it as we do not want to potentially put at risk any of our friends and family. This hasn't been an easy decision for us and there has been lots of tears but we hope you will all still support us and help us raise some pennies for the Love Musgrove charity (more details about this below).

Love Musgrove are raising £100,000 to help build a new three bedded recovery bay, revitalise the reception space, upgrade space in the Antenatal Clinic and give the Maternity Unit some brand new equipment. This project has been spearheaded by the Maternity Unit' incredible staff as they strive to deliver even better care to families.
