On 2^nd April 2023, Nature Picture Library staff took part in The Big Green Hike to support Heal, a charity raising money to buy land in England and rewild it. The UK is one of the most nature-depleted countries, ranking 189th in the world for biodiversity! Heal’s
vision of creating more space for wildlife to flourish is one we’re excited to get behind. We showed our support by stepping through the Somerset Levels, which were brimming with wildfowl and bird song to take in as we walked alongside the ditches, rhynes and lakes.
