Assalamu Alaykum, I pray you are all well :)
On Thursday 16th August, I will be traveling to Reyhanli (in Turkey) to deliver food parcels to Syrian refugees living there. I've always wanted to go and actually see where the donations go to, and Alhamdulillah I will now have the opportunity to do this :D (About time eh!)
So lovely people, I need your help! Please donate as little or as much as you can so I can hit my target and personally deliver 130 food parcels to the needy! Each food parcel costs just £23 and weighs just over 20 kilos (God help my back!) When I arrive, I will spend the first 3 days packing the food parcels, alongside the other team members who will be going with me, and then the next 3 days will be spent personally delivering them to the Syrian refugees!
I've never done this before so please make Du'a that I am successful and that this experience is a means for my sins to be forgiven, and for me to gain the Duas from the beautiful Syrian people in sha Allah!
Remember, every penny counts, what may seem a small amount to you can mean the world to someone else.
