I am the Chair of Trustees at Total Insight Theatre, an award-winning charity supporting children and young people. 

When I was younger, my mother loved to take me to opera, ballet and classical theatre. It was this exposure that has led me to really appreciate the arts and it has subsequently become a huge part of my life. Despite working day to day in a very scientific field, I am incredibly passionate about bringing arts and culture to children and young people in the same way that I was given the chance to experience them. 

Total Insight Theatre was founded in 2014 to deliver social change for children and young people and to provide holistic engagement and support to improve their mental health and develop lifelong skills. As Chair of Trustees, I'm particularly proud of how the charity has continued supporting children and young people since the start of the pandemic. Our staff and facilitators have been working incredibly hard to deliver an exceptional programme in response to the increasing impact the pandemic is having on children and young people's mental health and I will be running the ASICS London 10K to fundraise for the charity in order to ensure we can continue our great work.
