Salaams all, so we have entered another year, another Ramadan. I made intention to build a mosque in a rural part of kenya. 

Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” -Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 450, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 

I have been thinking about taking up this challenge, a challenge that will reward us after our time. This is something to leave behind as sadaqah e jariya. 

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three: Continuing charity, knowledge that others benefited from, and a righteous son who supplicates for him. -jami` at-Tirmidhi
