We help children with cancer to travel to lifesaving treatment

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be running the London Marathon this year (a childhood dream) for a small Cambridge based charity who are flying children with cancer to hospital.

I am humbled to be helping such a worthwhile cause and hope you can support me in my training journey to enable these children to complete their journeys!

I would like to raise as much awareness and money for this small charity.

My training didn’t start too well this year due to illness but I’m back on track putting in the weekly miles to enable me to achieve this goal.

I have run 13.1 miles several times but haven’t ever gone any further than this, so I will be pushing my body past its comfort zone!

My 1st training race is the Queen Elizabeth Half Marathon on 10th Feb, followed by the Cambridge Half Marathon on 3rd March and finally the Grand Prix Autodrome Bedford 20m on 31st March.

Please help me by supporting this amazing charity by donating (no amount is too small!) so they can keep their plane flying to help these children who are facing their own health battles. Every child that flys receives a Biggles teddy to accompany them during the flight and their treatments.
