My close friend Victoria Jefferson lost her Mum Jacqui Jefferson to this awful disease on 27th September 2021. 

I have known Vicky and Jacqui for around 10 years and the news was really hard to take and I cannot imagine what Vicky and her family have gone through the last couple of years. Jacqui was a true fighter, a wonderful person and loved by so many. It really is an honour to be able to run for MND but more importantly for Jacqui.

Running this marathon is going to be an absolute breeze compared to what Jacqui went through in the last couple of years, and she will be at the forefront of my mind when training commences. 

I hope me running ensures more vital funds are raised which goes towards well needed research to be able to tackle this awful disease which affects so many.
