Samaritans provide around the clock advice and support for anyone who feels alone and with nowhere to turn.
Every six seconds, somebody contacts them. Ten times a minute, they can help someone turn their life around. That’s a privilege, and a huge responsibility.
They don’t just wait for people to get in touch – they make sure as many people as possible know who they are and how they can help them.
The Samaritans reach 228,370 people a year in schools, hospitals and the homeless.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
