Water Wipeout · 21 June 2014
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
10 of us from Nationwide Building Society will be "attempting" the 2014 Water Wipeout Race in aid of Niamhs Next Steps - a truly amazing a deserving charity based in Northampton.
Water Wipeout is the ultimate obstacle race and mud run. This awesome challenge will include: Water Slides, Tightropes, Tunnels, Hurdles, Giant Walls, Cargo Nets, Spider’s Webs, Balance Beams, Mud, Water and the Assault Course, are we tough enough, are we up for it, are we ready for the race of our life? Yes we are (sort of)!!!
This is a 10k race with over fifty challenging obstacles that will take us through mud and water, and the race will have us climbing, crawling, swimming and running as we take part in this extreme experience!! Its going to tough, its going to muddy, its going to fun, but ever bit of pain will be worth it to raise as much money as possible for some thoroughly deserving children and what we suffer wont be a millionth of what these family go through every single day!!

On Sunday 20th May 2012 our hearts were broken when our beautiful, brave little girl lost her 18 month battle with the childhood cancer, Neuroblastoma, aged just 5. Niamh passed away peacefully in her mummy and daddy's arms. We miss her more than we could ever explain but are so proud of the way she touched so many peoples hearts and the legacy she has left behind. We have set up this charity in Niamh's memory in the hope of helping other families fighting this vile childhood cancer
Help us Fight Neuroblastoma
Neuroblastoma is an aggresive cancer that mainly affects children. Around 100 children are diagnosed with Neuroblastoma each year in the UK of which only around 30% will survive. Our goals are to raise money and awareness of Neuroblastoma whilst offering help, support and advice to children and families affected by this aggressive childhood cancer. Other aims are to help fund much needed research and education programs and help improve all round treatment of Neuroblastoma. Please donate and help us help other families during the toughest fight of their lives. In memory of our amazing little girl Niamh.
Please, please, help us help them and donate whatever you can.
Thanks very much, Tim, Stacy, Richard, Lois, Emma, Sarah, Helen, Tom and Toby.
