I am the Sub Group leader of New City Girls WI Burlesque Bombshells (that's right WI, it's not all jam and Jerusalem).

We are a group of approximately 20 ladies of all ages, shapes, sizes, backgrounds and abilities who get together once a week to learn and dance Burlesque.

We have been performing at vari0us events across North essex and have now decided to host a dedicated event to raise money for Safer Places in Chelmsford, specifically the money will help to fund the rejuvination of the children's play area there .

Burlesque and the WI are all about fun, friendship and education and empowering women. We are passionate about what we do and we want to give something back to our local community and help to raise awareness for this very worthy cause.

The event is sold out! So I have been asked by a few people if there is another way that they can donate so here we are.

Please give something even as little as a £1.00 It all adds up.
