We are taking part in a voluntary government-backed scheme called The National Citizen Service. NCS (http://www.ncsyes.co.uk/) encourages 15-17 year-olds to engage with their local communities through Social Action, therefore creating a positive impact on the world in which we live.

We have chosen The Exaireo Trust (http://www.exaireo.org/) because it is a small, yet productive, charity based in our local area of Loughborough. Exaireo provide accommodation, education, skills training, advice, support and practical work experience to help homeless people rehabilitate themselves and begin to see a brighter future.

We spent a whole day in Loughborough town centre bucket-collecting and raised just under £250. But this time the challenge is greater - as a team we will be participating in a Bikeathon at Loughborough Leisure Centre on Saturday 7th March and we need your support!
