We are a team from NCS Stoke, who are raising money for The Gingerbread Centre, a charity which works to support homeless children and their families through personalised, confidential and structural assistance. They provide support and accommodation for homeless, vulnerable families and single, teenage, pregnant women. We are asking for your donations to help us provide a safe playground for the children to play in. On Wednesday 24th July, starting from 9am, we will be in Longton Market selling cakes, doing a tombola and taking guesses for the name of a teddy bear.  We will repeat these activities on Thursday 25th July, but at Fenton Market from 9am. On Friday 26th July, we are doing a sponsored walk which is 6 miles, starting from Hanley Bus Station to the Bet365 Stadium and finishing off at The Gingerbread Centre, where we will deliver all of the money that we have raised throughout the week. We as a team have been touched by this remarkable charity as even members of our team have been supported by The Gingerbread Centre, so this is why we feel so deeply towards this charity and with your help, we hope that you can support us throughout the week as any donations will be very much appreciated and all money will go towards a new playground for the children. We desperately want to help as none of us can imagine being a child with no opportunity to play in a safe environment and we are sure that as parents, carers and people, you cannot either, so with your help, we want to provide these children a childhood.
