NCT is a national charity that has local branches and has been supporting parents in their first 1000 days for over 60yrs. Branches are completely ran by volunteers and have busy family/work lives alongside their NCT roles.

We at Nuneaton branch have recently trained a team of breastfeeding peer supporters, we hold regular coffee mornings and buggy walks in the area. 

We have lots of grand plans as a branch but we can only do this with your support. FUNDS raised at events and coffee mornings through donations go directly back into the branch to enable us to continue our work. As will the proceeds of this event. As a charity, head office  takes 70% of all funds raised by individual branches to support national campaigns and support leaving branches 30% to support parents in their first 1000 days locally. 

As a group of volunteers and busy mums/dads we have very little chance to ‘train’ for this and we are doing it to raise funds, have fun and enjoy ourselves; think Phoebie from friends for running style and technique ;-)
