The National Childbirth Trust (NCT) is a national charity for pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. The Charity's vision is of a world in which no parent is isolated, and all parents are supported to build a stronger society. 

The Clothes Bank is run by volunteers from the West Norfolk Branch of NCT. We have been donated a room at the 12th King's Lynn Scout Group, Beulah Street, off Wootton Road, where we store donations of second-hand children’s clothes, toiletries, and toys to redistribute to children in need from 6 months to 10 years. You can find our volunteers here several times a week to take organised donations. Alternatively, you may be able to drop to one of our several collection points across West Norfolk. We take referrals from professionals such as health visitors and social services as well as schools, churches, and other charities and local organisations to ensure that donations are given back to the people who need it most in our community.

We have had a very busy few weeks, especially with supporting Ukrainian families, as well as helping families facing financial distress and children in foster care.

During 2020, we sent out 75 bundles but during 2021 we provided 180 bundles to children in the local area. Just this month so far, we have provided clothing and toiletries for 26 children plus buggies, stairgates, toys, steps, and other essentials.

We are now critically low on stock on nearly every clothes size. You can help by donating:

Clothing and towels - must be clean and in good condition. 

Brand new Socks and underwear - in packaging.

Brand new Toiletries and Flannels.

Gift vouchers  and monetary donations - for local shops or supermarkets such as Primark and Tesco, to enable us to buy emergency and essential items.
